An Old Farm Cat Died and Went To Heaven…….

An old farm cat died and went to heaven. God greeted him when he arrived. God said,
“I know life on that farm was a rough one and I want to make it up to you. Is there anything you would like to have?”

The cat thought about it and said,
“It’s true. Life on that farm was rugged. Every time I wanted to lie down it was either cold or hot, dusty or dirty. If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, could you let me have a nice soft pillow to lay on?”

“Poof!”

God said,
“how’s that?”
The cat said,
“That’s for me?”
God answered him,
“It’s all yours pal. Whatever you want from now on is only a matter of asking for it. Is there anything else you need?”

The cat responded by saying,
“Aaaaaaaaaah, this is wonderful.”
God said,
“Is there anything else you need?”
The cat said,
“Ooooh this is heaven.”
He made a couple of circles on his pillow and went to sleep.

God left and just then, six little mice died and went to heaven. God met them and said,
“Hello boys, welcome to heaven. I know your life down there was difficult but those days are behind you now. Whatever you want, all you have to do is ask for it.”

One of the mice spoke up and said,
“You’re right, it was a terrible life for us. Everywhere we went we had to run as fast as we could, stop for a few seconds, look around and then run like crazy to the next stopping point. If it wouldn’t be too much trouble, could you let me and my pals have roller skates to get around on?”

“Poof!”

“How are those boys?”

They had perfectly machined little roller skates on their feet.
The mice were elated and all God could hear from them was.
“Wheeee, wheeeee, wheeee!”

So God left to make his rounds. God was smiling.
A week later God came back to see the cat, he said to him,

“How’s everything cat?”
“Oh, this is wonderful.”
Replied the cat.

God asked him,
“Do you like your pillow?”

The cat replied,
“I’d die for that pillow!”

God reminded him by saying,
“You did.”

“Oh yes, I forgot about that part”
said the cat.

“Do you need anything else friend?

And the cat said,
“No, I’m fine.”

“Okay”
said God,
“I need to be going now.”

The cat said,
“Well, there is one little thing if you don’t mind.”

God said,
“Name it,”
“Could you let me have a few more of those meals on wheels?”
