The problem America suffers today.

I know this is long but it may clear some of the conceptions some of us may harbor about the United States of America. If you chose to read it I applaud you. If you don’t perhaps you are part of the problem America suffers today. 

Many of us don’t take the time to reflect on the accomplishments our ancestors implemented here in America. We went from opening up a continent to exploring it first followed by colonization. Granted, there were many travesties that occurred along the way, some can write it off as progress while others want to denigrate those massive achievements simply by disparaging them. I choose to acknowledge those accomplishments with pride in what America once was and what America still is, but it is unraveling like a ball of twine. There are many reasons for that but because too many people have taken those great accomplishments and have cast aspersions on them, simply as a way of being mean and ungrateful for those wondrous accomplishments.

When we dissect the motives for this, we begin to uncover the root causes. First of all, immigrants who came to America came largely from Europe and they came by the hundreds of thousands. They left their homelands, families, and everything they were accustomed to for an ideal which they left behind in those many countries they immigrated from. Most had to learn a new language, accept a new culture, and begin the lifelong chore of blending into a new land which was nothing from everything they had ever known. They left behind family, both living and dead, to embrace a new life where freedom was the sirens call which beckoned them from afar.

They came, they assimilated, they learned English, they pledged their allegiance to this new land and what it stood for, and none of them came to the shores of America with the attitude they were going to get something for nothing. In fact, they worked from sunup to sundown and many of them seven days a week. They did it because America offered them freedom to raise a family without the concept of serfdom and most of all they came, they immersed themselves in a culture where freedom was guaranteed to them because of those wondrous document called the United States Bill of Rights and Constitution. They were free to come and go as they pleased, to worship their religions without fear. They were able to purchase land. 

As long as they worked for what they wanted, most of the time they were left unmolested. That’s not to say there were no prejudices because there were plenty of those, but the people didn’t give up, they persevered until they reached a level of acceptance and whatever it was they wanted from this great culture. Many succeeded while others didn’t do so well. But, the American dream was attainable by most as long as they made the attempt to build a future for themselves and their own kind.

They carved out a nation with their bare hands. They built railroads through the wilderness in the mountains bridging one mountain to another with great trestles and they bored enormous holes in the side of mountains as they went about building an infrastructure that would support more immigrants who came to this great land in search of whatever they did not have in their homeland but was promised to them in America. 

They built roads, great canals, bridges, grist mills, factories, and they built homes and schools. They built, and they progressed and they were enormously proud of their new land in the promises it made to them if they would only come here and be a part of the building of the greatest nation on earth.

It was a great land because it had vast resources. It was great because it allowed anyone who was willing to work to build a life within it working hand-in-hand with their neighbors to build a modern Empire dedicated to freedom and to the individual. This nation they were building became the world’s first modern superpower. When the Sabers of war were clashing together in Europe, America came to their aid. We fought the greatest superpower of its age, the British Empire not once but twice, and we won our freedom. 

Years later we fought a terrible Civil War. Many contend it was about slavery, but although that was one of the ingredients of the great recipe, it ravaged America, and it turned many of the citizens against one another in a bloody conflict, it was about mainly about states’ rights. More than 750,000 people gave up their lives in this quest. 

When the Civil War was over, there was a period of peace in the world, but it didn’t last very long and another war exploded onto the American scene. It was the Spanish-American war. When it was over, great areas of land became either a protectorate or a part of America. Then, Americans enjoyed peace once again.

Europe detonated once again into a world war said to be the war to end all wars. Although America was reluctant to get involved with Europe’s problems, it did finally, and thousands of Americans died on European soil. When the war finally ended in 1919, our young men came home to immerse themselves in jobs, the pursuit of education and to raise families of their own. That lasted for another 20 years and Europe again exploded like a smoldering sleeping super volcano and America went to war again.

Patriotism in that day and age was extremely high. No one dared burn or stop on an American flag. There were those who hid in the shadows and said not so flattering comments about America, but they weren’t very vociferous, choosing safety over bravado. In that day and age, you could count on an ass whipping at the very least for saying anything disparaging against America and its ideals and principles and at the other end of the spectrum perhaps even jail time.

Things have changed in America. There is no longer a national pride in being an American or supporting its principles. It has become fashionable to knock America’s greatness in those incredible adventures it took part in to make America the greatest country on earth. Today, reinforced with a Marxist philosophy it has become stylish to knock America’s greatness, to usurp the fighting spirit Americans once had to be replaced by a never-ending cradle to the grave welfare mentality. A ward of the state has usurped the American dream. A system where greatness in spirit and culture has been replaced by a “give me attitude” while those who receive give nothing in return except another mouth to feed.

Our country had the greatest educational system anywhere on earth. It had the richest treasury of any nation that has ever existed. Its military might was awesome and unbeatable. Our people loved their country and the flag that represents it. We had the greatest factories and a manufacturing base unsurpassed by no others in the world. Our highways and byways were exemplary. We had the greatest medical knowledge base the worlds had ever known. Our people were free, we were fierce adversaries and we stood alone in the world with pride in knowing ours was the greatest nation on earth. 

One day we were faced with another foreign war which had nothing to do with America but we sent troops and hardware over across a great ocean to fight for a small agrarian country’s freedom from communist aggression, and ever so slowly all that was America’s greatness began to unravel.

The young of our nation spat on the flag and the principals that made America stand alone in a greatness never before displayed on the planet. People lost respect for not only the country but its leaders and then the principals we were once taught in our schools became a secondary platform of what we once were. Marxism took the place of pride in country and the Communist manifesto began to seep into the school curriculums and politics. Our entertainment messages became one of disrespect for America and its policies. Our mainstream media became slanted against the American values and our military became a subject of great disrespect and scorn. God was driven out of almost everything and was replaced with perversions and contempt. 

Of course, there is a lot more but what has happened is, our domestic enemies have seized control of many of the machinery that drives America and it is coming apart at the seams. Our morals and Judaea/Christian values have all but been buried under a dung heap, what was once the acceptable behavior has been replaced by greed, avarice, a welfare mentality and pride in other cultures other than America’s. We were once referred to as simply Americans, not some hyphenated version. People still come to America but they come for whatever they can get and they bring hatred of America with them. 

A contempt and scorn of our country and this is encouraged by a portion of our politicians who make laws that strip Americans of their birthrights. Joseph McCarthy once, “The greatest threat to America today isn’t the politicians who vote away the America’s rights, it is the voters who vote these people into the offices who in turn are destroying America from within with the help of a population who has become dependent on the public feeding trough.

I hope Donald Trump will implement most of his promises to “Drain the Swamp.” We need to get back to those principals, that guided us through many wars, and to a prosperity never before known in other lands anywhere on the planet earth.

I live rather far out in the country. Around me are many farms and farm subsidiaries. The other day I had to go and get my oil changed on my Jeep and while I was waiting I noticed there was a large pasture that connected to two sides of the building. A very large bull walked up to a container and put his head down in it to get a drink, but there was no water in the bucket. I noticed there was a water hose nearby and I walked over and began filling the bucket.

The bull was a big boy. I’d say around 2,000 pounds. He watched me filling the container and once I had about six inches of water in it he stuck his head down into it and started to drink. I was close to the fence and was looking down in the bucket. Our heads were very close together. All of a sudden the bull pulled his head up and a large, wet purple tongue swiped me across the face. Then he mooed and I want to tell you it was loud. Then the big old bull turned and walked away. I would like to believe he was thanking me.

Writing in a narrative.

Do you do that? Is your story told simply as you see it, but doesn’t include opinions of others? Do you have characters in your story? Do they have a story of their own? Do you allow them to tell their stories or do you do it in a narrative form?

To begin, I readily admit, I’m no expert.I am still learning to write.

As we write, the learning is constant. We begin to pick up little things along the way which we incorporate into our stories. We begin to learn how to write one day and it’s as if someone opened a curtain and we are able to see past the fabric, finally. It took me a while to do that, but, it always takes me longer to see or understand certain things which are obvious to others. I am still learning as I said to begin this.

Oh well, as long as I see it sooner than too much farther in the future, there may be hope for me as a writer after all. There are little mannerisms I discovered, mostly by accident because I read it somewhere, or the proverbial light bulb lit up above the old head. It doesn’t matter how the discovery was made, simply put, if there was a learning experience, connected to it then it was good. One of those helpful habits we should learn to develop can be along the lines of the following thoughts I have learned:

One little habit we as writers should do is to watch people as they interact with one another. People in a bar, at a picnic, or perhaps at a large gathering. Everyone is moving, they’re scratching their heads, or generally doing something. They are usually interacting with the events around them.They aren’t statues.

As they speak many people become animated. Whatever it is you see people do when they’re exchanging conversation with one another, or just being together, is how you should portray them when you write. Your reader can’t see these things unless you tell them about it. 

The more engrossed you can get your readers involved with what it is you’re telling them, the better. If it is a dry narrative, it can get old quickly. Most characters just like you have a story they can tell someone else about themselves in your account. Let them do that. You’ll find your tale will move along much better when you do.

I’ve read a lot of stories by people who want desperately to write poignant novels. One of the biggest mistakes many beginning authors make is this, they write the entire dialogue in a narrative style expressing their personal opinion about what happens in the book. I did the same thing early on.
Although that isn’t a bad way to write a story, it isn’t the best either. Usually, we write about what others are doing, saying, thinking and reacting to. In real life, that’s how it is. People sneeze, they cough, scratch their heads, come off with sayings unique to them and it fits their personalities. They think about things and they express their opinions. Sometimes we like them and sometimes we don’t. 

I don’t have all the answers but over the last twenty years as I have been practicing writing some things along the way have made themselves clear. I’m still learning and have a long way to go but it is a fun process.

One day, we as authors find our unique voice, if we devote enough time to developing it. It is the way we tell others about what we see in our minds. It is our style. We tell the reader stories about things, people, events and we tell it the way we see it. When we have a variety of characters in our stories, we have to become each character to tell it the way they see it or feel about whatever it is we are imparting to our readers. When you can create events and people living those events that seem to be real, you have come very close to achieving the saying, “You have arrived.” 

Arriving as a writer is a long uphill learning process. It takes learning plenty of little things that mount up. Grammar, punctuation, the ability to discipline oneself, and so many more in-depth ideas they cannot all be addressed her. Suffice it to be understood, it is a gradual process that takes a very long time to learn. You never learn it all, it develops with practice but sometimes, we can become accomplished storytellers if we keep at it, and we can retain what we have learned. Practice makes perfect.

HOW DID THE U.S. GET TO WHERE WE ARE TODAY?

To those who have been paying attention for the past few decades, the inconceivable events that we’re seeing today – people protesting against a legal election just because they don’t like the guy who won, the ruthless and shameless attempts by the Democrat Left and some treasonous establishment Republicans to oust a legitimately elected president by fabricating all sorts of insane lies and allegations against him, violent demonstrations by vicious, anti-free speech ANTIFA thugs (who are the epitome of the fascism they claim to be against), and the desecration and removal of historic monuments and statues (which are part of our cultural heritage and belong to ALL Americans), come as no big surprise.

For those Americans who are mystified (and one would hope horrified) by current events, wondering how in the world we got here and why, in the interest of enlightenment, I offer the following:

Shortly after the Bolshevik revolution in Russia in the early 1900s, we had progressives in America who openly admired the communists and, in fact even referred fondly to Joseph Stalin, the mass murderer of millions, as “Papa Joe”. Over the decades these people formed organizations for the promotion of communism in the United States, such as the Communist Party U.S.A., the DSA – Democratic Socialists of America (60 card-carrying members of which are serving in the U.S. Congress), the CCDS – Committees of Correspondence for Democratic Socialism, and the New Party, of which Obama was a signatory member.

In the 1930’s, Fabian Socialist, John Dewey, after a visit to the USSR and very impressed with the Soviet schools, decided that the American public school system was the ideal vehicle for bringing about a “social revolution” and preparing American children for the “collective” and the coming new world order. To that end, the morality and patriotism that parents taught their children had to be destroyed, and the class hatred and envy so necessary for the implementation of socialism had to be promoted. The objective of teaching children “the correct attitude” took priority over academic excellence. Progressives have had a stranglehold on our educational system ever since. Sex Education was implemented in public schools with the intent of undermining traditional morality and parental influence. An educators’ pamphlet in the 1960’s described sex education as “the primary weapon in the war against the traditional family”.

In the late 1930’s, Marxists of the Frankfurt School (mostly Jewish intellectuals) fled Nazi Germany and established themselves in Columbia University where they planned their long-term scheme for undermining our form of government which they dubbed “the long march through the institutions”. This involved infiltrating every major U.S institution, i. e., the educational system, the media, the entertainment industry, and even the churches – subversively tearing down core American values, views and traditions and insidiously replacing them with “soft” or “cultural” Marxism – a revolution without a shot being fired.

In the 1960’s the Left aggressively advanced this agenda in two ways: Realizing that older Americans were unlikely to be ‘converted’, they decided to go after our kids and thus began the wholesale infiltration of our colleges and universities by Leftist professors who have turned our institutions of higher learning into indoctrination centers, teaching our kids to be ashamed of and hate their own country, to believe that repressive ideologies like communism are better than the values of a free republic, and to use them as pawns to bring about the “revolution”. In the process, eliminate courses in legitimate American and world history.

Frankfurt School disciple, Herbert Marcuse, self-styled guru of the flower children, and his cohorts took advantage of the anti-war discontent and spoon-fed an entire generation poisonous Marxist ideology (without telling them what it was, of course) and cleverly combined Marx with Freud’s theory that everyone was sexually repressed. This gave rise to the promiscuity, irresponsibility, disdain for authority, the law, the establishment, and traditional morality embraced by the ‘do your own thing’ dropouts and set us down the path to the degeneracy which pervades our culture today. Marcuse also decided that his “army of change” would be feminist women, blacks, homosexuals, and students. Use identity politics, divide them into groups, promote notions of entitlement and victimhood, fan the flames of their grievances – real or imagined – and pit them against society in general. Sound familiar?

The Democrat Party of today has been taken over by the radical Left and for decades has been aggressively promoting the implementation of Socialist/Marxist concepts while ever more overtly assaulting our traditional culture, morality and The Judeo-Christian foundations of our free republic.

Early Marxists, Gramsci of Italy and Lukacs of Hungary, decided that western culture and the Christian religion were blinding the workers to their true, Marxist class interests, and for Marxism to succeed, BOTH had to be destroyed, which remains the goal of the Left to the present day.
Millions of well-meaning, but unaware Americans have unwittingly been voting Democrat and electing these dangerous socialists into office, giving them ever-increasing power…the result of which we’re seeing today. The American people eagerly elected “the first black president”, neither knowing nor caring that he was a Marxist who occupied the office illegally (since in eight years, he couldn’t produce a bonafide American birth certificate), or what he REALLY meant by “the fundamental transformation of America”. The damage he was allowed to do to this country is inestimable.

In the early 1960’s former FBI agent, Cleon Skousen, wrote a book entitled, “The Naked Communist”, in which he enumerated a list of 45 goals compiled by the Communist Party in the U.S. for destroying America. Some of them were related to issues with the former Soviet Union and are no longer relevant, but far too many have already been accomplished.
So for those who are wondering what in the HELL has happened and is happening to their country, this should clear up some of the confusion and will be chillingly familiar, and what I’ve written is only the tip of a very ugly and dangerous iceberg. I’ve marked ones which have already been accomplished or which are close to being accomplished with an asterisk.

Communism, Liberalism, Socialism, Progressivism, National Socialism, New World Order Globalist, the United Nations and the American ‘Democratic’ Party’s……45 goals to destroy the United States.

On Jan. 10, 1963, Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr. of Florida read a list of 45 Communist goals into the Congressional Record. The list was derived from researcher, and former FBI Agent, Cleon Skousen’s book “The Naked Communist.” These principles are well worth revisiting today in order to gain insights into the thinking and strategies of much of our so-called liberal elite:

U.S. should accept coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

U.S. should be willing to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the U.S. would be a demonstration of “moral strength.” [Note: The nuclear freeze advocates supported a freeze on American nuclear development only. Rarely were Soviet nukes or those of other nations mentioned in their self-righteous tirades. The same advocates now call for reducing American military might, claiming that there is something immoral about America preserving its military pre-eminence in the world.]

Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war. [Note: Today, there are calls to end the embargo on the slave island of Cuba, there were complaints about the embargo against Iraq, and the U.S., not Saddam Hussein, was blamed for the suffering of the Iraqi people. Would they have advocated for free trade with Hitler and his National Socialist regime?]

Extend long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.
*6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination. [Note: Such aid and trade over decades contributed greatly to the left-wing communist liquidation of over 100 million people worldwide, according to the well-documented “Black Book of Communism.” This aid and trade marks a shameful chapter in American history. Without the aid and trade, the left-wing international communist behemoth would have imploded on its own rot a lot sooner and umpteen millions would have been saved from poverty, misery, starvation and death.]
*7. Grant recognition of Red China and admission of Red China to the U.N. [Note: Not only did President Jimmy Carter fulfill this goal but he also betrayed America’s allies in Nicaragua, El Salvador, Iran, Afghanistan, Angola and elsewhere.]

Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the Germany question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the U.S. has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

*11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. [Note: There are still American intellectuals, and elected members of Congress, who dream of an eventual one world government and who view the U.N., founded by communists such as Alger Hiss, the first secretary-general, as the instrument to bring this about. World government was also the dream of Adolf Hitler and J.V. Stalin. World government was the dream of Osama bin Laden and the 9/11 hijackers.]

(My note: wouldn’t it be nifty if a one-world order, made up of all the countries in the world, many of them backward countries who routinely violate human rights and/or hate the U.S., could simply vote to, say, impose a 75% tax on America’s GNP or perhaps vote to prevent the U.S. from maintaining a military… a real ‘utopian” can of worms.
*12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party. [Note: While the idea of banning any political party runs contrary to notions of American freedom and liberty, notions that are the exact opposite of those held by the left-wing communists themselves, nevertheless these goals sought to undermine the constitutional obligation of Congress to investigate subversion. The weakening of our government’s ability to conduct such investigations led to the attack of 9/11.]

*13. Do away with loyalty oaths. [Note: It is entirely proper and appropriate for our government to expect employees, paid by the American taxpayer, to take an oath of loyalty.]

1. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.
   *15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the U.S. [Note: In his book, “Reagan’s War,” Peter Schweizer demonstrates the astonishing degree to which communists and communist sympathizers have penetrated the Democratic Party. In his book, Schweizer writes about the presidential election of 1979.]

*16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions, by claiming their activities violate civil rights. [Note: This strategy goes back to the founding of the American Civil Liberties Union by Fabian Socialists Roger Baldwin and John Dewey and Communists William Z. Foster and Elizabeth Gurley Flynn among others.]

*17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

*18. Gain control of all student newspapers. (mostly accomplished)

*19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations that are under Communist attack. [Note: The success of these goals, from a communist perspective, is obvious. Is there any doubt this is so?]

*20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

*21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.

*22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings,” substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.

*23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. ” Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

*24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

*25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV. [Note: This is the Gramscian agenda of the “long march through the institutions” spelled out explicitly: gradual takeover of the “means of communication” and then using those vehicles to debauch the culture and weaken the will of the individual to resist.]

*26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural and healthy.” [Note: Today those few who still have the courage to advocate public morality are denounced and viciously attacked. Most Americans are entirely unwitting regarding the motives behind this agenda.]

*27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.” [Note: This has been largely accomplished through the communist infiltration of the National Council of Churches, Conservative and Reform Judaism, and the Catholic seminaries.]
(my note: most churches now proudly promote “social justice”, having no clue that it is a Marxist concept.)

*28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state”

*29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis. (My note: the mantra of Obama and Hillary Clinton and the Left)

*30. Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

*31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of “the big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over. [Note: Obliterating the American past, with its antecedents in principles of freedom, liberty and private ownership is a major goal of the communists then and now.]
(My note: most colleges and universities no longer require courses in American and/or world history in order to graduate. This IS deliberate. An ignorant populace is an easily deceived and manipulated populace.)

*32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture – education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc. (My note: Obama’s forcing socialized medicine on the American people (by ONE vote which he got by lying to the Congressman in question that abortions would not be taxpayer funded, but they are) was a huge triumph for the Left. Control healthcare, and you control the people.

*33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

*34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

*36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
(My note: When AFL-CIO president, John Sweeney, abolished the anti-communist loyalty oath, American labor unions were heavily infiltrated by Communists, several heads of which were frequent visitors to the Obama White House.)

*37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business. (to some degree)

*38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat. [Note: The Soviets used to send “social misfits” and those deemed politically incorrect to massive mental institutions called gulags. The Red Chinese call them lao gai. Hitler called them concentration camps.]Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose communist goals. [Note: Psychiatry remains a bulwark of the communist agenda of fostering self-criticism and docility.]

*40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. [Note: Done! The sovereign family is the single most powerful obstacle to authoritarian control.]
(My note: the traditional family is the foundation and building block of society. The Left’s aggressive promotion of gay marriage was ostensibly pushed as a “gay rights” issue and non-discrimination against gays, but the real reason was to destabilize society by undermining the traditional concept of marriage.

*41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents. [Note: Outcome-based education, values clarification or whatever they’re calling it this year.] (My note: It takes a village, etc.)

*42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special interest groups should rise up and make a “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems. [Note: This describes the dialectical fostering of group consciousness and conflict, which furthers the interests of authoritarianism.]Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

*44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

Repeal the Connally Reservation so the U.S. cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction over nations and individuals alike.

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

I know of no white person alive today in the United States who has ever legally owned a black slave, or any slave for that matter. Almost 700,000 mostly white men died 160 years ago to end slavery. Jim Crow ended generations ago. Yet black America, for the most part, is still locked in inner-city gang violence and economic hardship. Why?

 Is it because America is racist?  Is it because of some overhanging white supremacy?  Is it because of the Illuminati?

 No, unfortunately, it is because of black culture and the adoption of Democratic Party government dependency. 

 We have just had eight years of the first black president.  Black athletes, and entertainers, routinely earn multi-million dollar incomes.  I can easily name several black billionaires without even trying too hard. A large percentage of black America is very successful. But, it is not enough. Too many black youth are being left behind.

 And it is no one but black America’s fault. 

 No one can solve this problem but black America.  No one can throw enough money at it.  We’ve tried that.  Black America needs to look in the mirror and stop blaming others, especially white people.

 I am obviously white and conservative, and I served in the military, which, during my time, was as color blind as you could be. I can also honestly say I don’t give a damn what color your skin is, neither do any of my friends.  I do care about your actions. 

 Blacks are around 15 percent of the population. Depending on what study you look at, they commit around 40 percent to 50 percent of violent crime in America. Of course, there is going to be a problem with police.  And, of course, there are some bad policemen.. However, those bad apples do not kill black people statistically anymore than they kill white people.  Even Harvard said that recently. If you were a cop, and you had to work in a neighborhood infested with crime and murder, wouldn’t you act differently than in a neighborhood where there was little crime? The most effective thing black America could do to improve its relationship with police is to significantly reduce violent crime where they live.  Yes, that means change the culture of where you live and your community. 

 I for one am tired of being blamed.  I am tired of dealing with people who only want something from others.  I don’t oppress anyone.  I don’t hold anyone down.  I’m tired of getting on the D.C. metro and seeing white people being harassed by roaming gangs of black youth with their pants around their knees.  Yes, you want a white person uncomfortable?  That makes me uncomfortable.  It’s our nation’s capital and it’s embarrassing. 
 Blacks have nothing but opportunity in America.  Try finding the same opportunity anywhere else in the world.  If you are born in America you’ve won life’s economic lottery.  Take advantage of it. 

 The problem is this generation has been taught an agenda of cultural Marxism by our education system.  They’ve been taught to be a victim, and it’s still going on.  All you have to do is watch the young black, female student at Yale screaming at the college president to understand that.  Blacks in America don’t even know how good they got it. 

 Don’t kneel when my anthem is played.  Too many people died for that flag.  You are free to protest but not then.  I am free to not watch, or pay to watch you play if you do that.  The NFL should make it a rule that you stand for the national anthem.  There is no free speech to disobey a private employer on private property.  This would solve the problem immediately.
 The NFL has deeply offended most of America.  They will pay an economic and reputational price, as they should.

 We have a real cultural problem in this country, the result of the Leftist multicultural agenda.  Multi-ethnicity is perfect and should be encouraged..  Having more than one American culture is destroying the country.  But then again, that is what the Left wants.

 WHAT IF ALL THE BLACKS SUDDENLY LEFT AMERICA, WHICH IS 13.3% OF THE TOTAL U.S.POPULATION:

Amount of people in poverty would drop – 34%, 
The prison population would go down by -37%, 
Welfare recipients would go down by – – – 42%, 
Gang members would go down by – – – – – 53% 
Chlamydia cases would go down – – – – – – 54%, 
Homelessness would go down – – – – – – – -57% 
Syphilis would go down  – – – – – – – – – – – – 58%. 
AIDS & HIV would go down by – – – – – – – -65%, 
Gonorrhea would go down – – – – – – – – – – -69%, 
Average ACT scores would go UP – – – – – 5.5 points. 
Average IQ would go UP – – – – – – – – – – – -7.4 points,  putting us 3rd in the world tied with Japan,
Average SAT scores would go UP almost – – – – -100 points, 
The average income for Americans would go UP over $20,000 a year,
BUT DEMOCRATS WOULD LOSE 76% OF THEIR VOTING BASE!!!
And, many criminal defense attorneys would have to find another line of work!

A Cowboy Rides into Town

A cowboy came riding into town and stopped in front of the saloon. He tied his horse’s reins to the hitching post and walked around behind the horse, and proceeded to stick a finger in the horse’s ass. Then lifting his hand up and extending the finger began to study it in the sunlight. When he appeared to be satisfied, with his handiwork he wiped his lips with the moist finger and started to walk up the steps to the saloon. A cowboy in front of the establishment was startled by what he saw and with an overwhelming curiosity asked the man………
“Excuse me pard’ but can you tell me why you did that?”
The cowboy looked at him for a moments and seemed hesitant to answer but said finally,
“Did what?”
“Stuck yer finger in that thar horses ass and then wiped it on your lips.”
The cowboy stared at the man for a long moment and then said,
“My lips are chapped.”
“I never knew that was a cure for chapped lips before……..”{
The cowboy glared at the man and said,
“It ain’t no cure dammit, it just keeps me from lickin’ ‘em.”
